Although she was blindly selected from the group of gals who commented on Denice’s blog post, Mel’s response was enlightening, nonetheless:

“Well since I teach school, I do alot of bending. When I’m shopping for jeans, I need a pair that has some give. I don’t want them to be too tight so that I have to hide a mushroom cap or too lose so the kids ask ‘Do you need a belt?’”
