I have always been self-conscious of my lips; they lack pigment and plump. I have looked into various options, such as lip augmentation, lip plumpers, even permanent cosmetics. So in my journey for the ultimate lip gloss, I am determined to find one that is perfect on all levels. If you are anything like me, you cannot live without soft lips.
After trying virtually every lip gloss product out there, I decided to create specific criteria that my ideal lip gloss needs to fall in line with:
1) It can’t be sticky
2) It must be pleasant to the taste
3) It should only carry a hint of color
4) It can’t be thick
5) It must fit nicely in my small purse and pocket
Expanding my search took me to that place once again: MySpace. I cannot believe how many cosmetic companies are out there! I began to read through profiles and research Web sites, eventually arriving at TINTe Cosmetics. Their catchphrase: “Product Tested on Boys, Not Animals.” WOW – I was hooked.
Stacy Provines, founder and creator of TINte cosmetics, created this unique line of cosmetics to revolve around, “Making women feel great about themselves. It was created from a feeling of a simpler time, a time everyone cherishes, a memory of pure innocence, the essence of youth and freedom.”
And their packing is so cute! I decided to try the flavored lip shine, “Pepper on the Rocks.” Here is the breakdown:
1) It is NOT STICKY! It is glossy and moisturizing (must be the shea butter oil they use)
2) It tastes just like Dr. Pepper. Yummy!
3) It has just a hint of fabulous color
4) It is light and airy
5) It fits nicely in my small purse, but not my pocket (the only downside)
Thanks Stacy for creating a fabulous lip gloss. You have a loyal follower now!

I have always been teased because people say I have no lips so I am always looking for a good lip shine.
