While I browsed through my weekly Avon catalog (yes, I am addicted to catalog shopping), I came across this simple, yet cute, bracelet. As I continued to read about it, I became more interested as to what this little bracelet stood for, Woman’s Empowerment, and helping improve the lives of women across the world.

The press release from UNIFEM (United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women) said it was collaborating with Avon to end violence against women and advance women’s empowerment. Proceeds from the bracelet will go towards programs addressing violence against women in more than 120 countries.

I received mine the other day and I love it!
