Besides my boyfriend, it’s the only other thing I can’t stand to be without – my purse!
A good handbag has been my best friend for the past 23 years. Your purse can be a reflection of how you live your life, upkeep yourself, and in some cases, it may be as important as a first impression.
Most women are usually striving to look their best. From our hair, to our body, skin, and clothes, we are always dressed to impress. So why not complete the package with an insanely cute purse? It can be an important staple of your fashion statement, while serving the dual purpose of carrying around all your necessary belongings to make it through the day. Because of this, it is essential that a handbag meet both needs of the day.
This is why I have decided to dedicate myself to bringing you the most fashionable, handy handbags out there at the moment. Just like your mood and personality, purses are always changing, and so must your purse. Going along with how you’re feeling, a different day can equal a different handbag.
So with spring coming to an end and summer just around the corner, tons of designers are starting to come out with their fun, flirty, and busy designs and prints for all those women who are getting summer ready. The season just screams fun! And, that’s just what designers are doing with their handbags right now, having fun. Embracing summer and its funky colors, designers are coming out with prints, colors, and designs that will be sure to get you perked up in a second.
For this month, I bring you Marc Jacobs. As one of my favorite designers (for his innovative designs in the field of fashion), Jacobs is always pushing the envelope. Not afraid to make bold statements with his designs, we shouldn’t be afraid to wear them.
Selection: The “Rana” Pouch and “Alice” Bag by Marc Jacobs-Spring 2008 Bag
A bit more on the expensive side, these fabulous bags are priced at $795.00 (Rana) and $850.00 (Alice). Sure to last you all summer long, through your outings to the beach, mall and vacations, you’ll be sure to have a conversation starter with this bag!
Bedazzled with a signature frog on the front, you can happily bounce around to all your destinations with these cute bags. The “Rana” is available in acid yellow, acid orange, black, and fluo pink; and the “Alice” can be purchased in black and grey. Large enough to stash your brush, makeup, wallet, bottle water, and maybe even a magazine, these purses can become a regular accessory on your daily outings.

Bright colors are making their comeback, along with outlandish designs, so be the first in your town to try out this amazingly cute purse that can be paired with black, white, or even used to spice up your outfit.
These bags are soon to be available through fine retail stores such as Nordstrom, and Jacobs’ boutiques in Los Angeles, New York, and other cities (but if you can’t wait ‘til then, pre-order your bag now!).

Great post! I too have a thing for great arm candy. I think I spent 4 hours last night bag browsing on different websites. Who does not love a beautiful purse collection?
