Keeping Up With the Kardashians — And Their Beauty Regimens

Posted by Leeann at 12:54 pm

The Kardashian sisters: You either love ‘em or hate ‘em. I, personally, think they’re great. But then again, I am addicted to Reality TV. For me, watching “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” on E! is a guilty pleasure that I embrace.

Kim Kardashian

If you know who middle sister Kim is, then you are probably aware of her well-endowed backside. It has been debated if her bottom is natural, or if she had it enlarged with butt augmentation. After watching a recent episode entitled “Kim’s Calendar for Reggie,” I am leaning toward the conclusion that her rear is real.

In this installment of the show, we see Kim go in for cellulite treatment to tighten up the area around her buttocks, thighs, and stomach. Maybe it’s just me, but if I were worried about having a slender figure, there is no way I would want to make my bottom half larger with cosmetic enhancements.

There are several companies that manufacture cellulite treatment machines, but they all work toward the same goal — reducing the unsightly dimples that so many of us women are plagued by. Paired with a healthy diet and regular exercise, the effects that this procedure can have on a body are said to be profound.

I think it’s awesome that we get to see the real side of this pop sensation. A thin frame is all the rage these days, but is it really possible for each of us to be a size zero? No! Kim embraces the fact that she has curves and works with what she’s got.

Whether Kim had the cellulite treatment to look better for the calendar that she was making for NFL star running back boyfriend, Reggie Bush, or if it was due to the not-so-long-ago public comment that Paris Hilton made about Kim’s butt looking like “cottage cheese inside of a big trash bag,” good for her for having the confidence to admit that she isn’t perfect!

I agree Leeann! In no way do I think that she had a butt enhancement. She seems like a normal woman worrying about her cellulite and embracing her shapley figure. I love their show. Great post!

Hi Leann! I can [actually] tolerate this show (a little surprised by that, though!). But I can’t call it - I still wonder if she has had a butt enhancement. A friend of mines who writes for a magazine that interviewed Kim is convinced that she did buff-up-her-butt. I don’t know … Kim is darling either way!

I like how curvy these girls are. I hope they are all natural in their curves, but I know that is wishful thinking! =)

I think that you are missing a very important point here. With out debating if Kim’s posterior is God given or surgically enhanced-because let’s face it, we will never really know the truth-I would like to point out that it’s all about PROPORTION! Would you rave about Kim’s curves if she were 30-50 lbs heavier? She is actually a very slender woman with above average proportions. Over sized Pam Anderson-esque Breasts are so over, but the Beyonce-esque ass is still all the rage, so I say if Kim did get this fab rump naturally then God bless, and if she did have it surgically enhanced then she is a genius of a business woman. Afterall, do you think she’d be a household name without that amazing tush? Nope. She’d just be another pretty face.

Great point re Kim’s proportions, Donna, but don’t forget she has another increasingly common celebrity selling point: the sex tape. I doubt we’d talk about her at all were it not for the tape/the reality show/and the intriguing Kardashian family dynamics (the late Robert Kardahsian is their father, Brody Jenner is their stepbrother, etc.). She seems like a nice girl, though, for sure.
