Let’s face it – aging is inevitable. But with today’s science and knowledge, we are able to prevent it and slow it down so we can look healthy and fabulous at any age.
One important tactic in slowing down the aging process is providing our body with antioxidants, amino acids, and vitamins. The skin is the largest organ of the body, working 24/7 to protect us from environmental pollution and sun damage, removing toxins and acid waste.
Our skin is overworked, so we have to feed it not only topically but internally.
AdorageMD ( www.adoragemd.com) has the greatest Skin Formula supplement to attack aging and make your skin adorable at any age.
This formula includes:
DMAE – to tighten skin
MSM – “nature’s beauty mineral”
Acetyl L – carnitine and R-alpha lipoic acid, which working together are slowing the cell’s aging process and have positive effect on brain.
Lycopene, Green Tea extract, Resveratol – as powerful antioxidants
N-acetyl cystein – as a neutralizer of free radicals
Hyaluronic Acid – to promote skin’s elasticity and hydration, fighting the formation of wrinkles
Skin Formula was engineered so that you have to take no more than 2 capsules per day to promote healthy skin.
Want to receive a free monthly supply of Skin Formula as a present from Adorage?
Just leave us a comment with the answer to this question: “How often does a person have to take oral supplements to receive all of the potential benefits from them?”

Over the weekend, Kate Bosworth attended an OmniPeace charity event in Los Angeles, and the actress was spotted in a Rory Beca Double Layer dress. And that’s just the tip of the fashion iceberg. With fans such as Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, Nicole Richie, Fergie, and a number of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, Rory Beca is definitely on the fashion radar. More »

I look at several plastic surgeons’ Web sites throughout the day while working for PlasticSurgery.com. I also have a few friends that are interested in getting some kind of cosmetic procedure, whether it’s for a mommy makeover, or something more simple like Botox®.
All of this makes it difficult not to think about getting plastic surgery sometime in the future. But what would I get done? Rhinoplasty? Maybe, but then again, I’ve grown to like my slightly imperfect nose. Tummy tuck? Perhaps after I have kids, since it’s not recommended for women who still plan on having children. What about breast augmentation? Now that’s something every woman ponders at some point.

So, for those of us that are still unsure about what kind of breast enhancement we would like to receive, I have come across a great company that offers results similar to those of almost any breast augmentation surgery. Pure STYLE Girlfriends offers products to help us add a cup size or lift our breasts without the plastic surgeon’s assistance. More »

As we learn more and more about the importance of keeping our skin healthy, many of the Beauty Chat ladies have started trying various facial products. There have been quite a few skin care reviews before this one, and there will certainly more to come.
This blog features Tyra Skin Care, a brand that’s all about moisturizing. The company’s Web site claims: “4 simple steps, twice a day is ALL it takes to have the beautiful healthy skin that you were meant to have.” The four steps that they speak of include a cleanser, normalizer, surface moisturizer, and deep moisturizer. And there is actually an additional phase, a hydrating skin mist. So really, think of it as a five part process.

Shaving is a chore that has to be done (okay, it doesn’t have to, but should be), and if you decide to adopt other methods, such as waxing
or threading, it can be a little uncomfortable and expensive. Personally, I stick to shaving. My skin is not super sensitive, but does react negatively from time to time. I am on a quest to find that perfect razor, but until then, I have found a fabulous alternative to those pesky ingrown hairs.
Queen Bee Waxing has a product that every girl should have in her bathroom, Buzz off Bumps™ For Pesky Ingrowns. Buzz off Bumps™ is a round, pre-medicated pad that is easy and fast to use. All you have to do is swipe the pad over the area 24 hours after shaving or waxing, and let dry. These little pads can be used everywhere! Your bikini area, underarms, and yes, men can use them too! Are you feeling stressed, tired, or sick? A trip to your massage therapist may be the answer to your problems. I recently had the opportunity to chat with a Holistic Health Practitioner about massage therapy, including its history and benefits.

Last Thursday, Beauty Chat contributors Sarah, Stephanie, and me had the pleasure of attending the debut event of The Luxe Life. This was a swanky affair held in Los Angeles, similar to Shecky’s Girls Night Out (which we also blogged about not long ago).

Congrats to Lexie, who was selected to win the Marmalade Pink giveaway! Just in time for the approaching summer, this lucky lady will receive a basket of gifts from the Marmalade Pink Members, which is valued at over $150!
The Beauty Chat crew thought her “Summer Must-Have” was fabulous. Lexie shared, “My summer beauty must-have is chilled body sprays. I put them in the refrigerator and spray myself all over when I want to feel refreshed.”
What a great idea. I know I put mine in the fridge when I got home last night! More »

While recently attending the Total Beauty Blog Summit, I was introduced to the Cutler Fly-Away Control Stick. This product, as the title explains, works to control fly-away hairs. And it works magnificently!
According to the company, this stick combats frizziness and static, soothes the cuticles, and provides sleek and shiny hair. And with ingredients such as shea butter and essential oils, what isn’t there to love?
As soon as I saw the product, I had to try it out! Fellow Beauty Chat contributor, Denice, also took advantage of this fantastic fly-away control stick. Here are our thoughts: More »

Good skincare definitely ranks amid the top tier of my beauty “musts” list. No, I am not one of those faux-modest gals who will scream a-c-n-e when a single pimple stands surrounded by skin seemingly untainted by the puberty plague. For me, the plague undoubtedly caught up with my complexion.
The designated zones of attack are my lower cheeks, chin and, less often, forehead. Diet and lifestyle choices are rumored to be contributors to “bad” skin; however, I have been told first-hand from people who specialize in all things skin (i.e. Dermatologists) that these assertions are simply rumors. Your skin is a little more complicated than owing its unappealing front to an obsession with sweets. Luckily, Chella skincare knows the science behind a more Bella you.
