skInHarmony Pure Skin Care

skInHarmony Pure Skin CareWhen I was given samples of skInHarmony Pure Skin Care face wash, toner, and peel, my first reaction was, “It’s so small! How can I truly evaluate the product if I can only use it once?” Well, to my surprise, the petite bottles of cleanser seem to be enough for 3 uses.

I have never really had the need to wash my face each day (I know I am supposed to); however, as I have reached my 30s I seem to breakout more often and now see the need for daily skin care. Therefore, since there isn’t that much effort involved, I thought skInHarmony would be the perfect way for me to break my habit of not dedicating the time to my skin that I should.

The ingredients of these products are all natural, so it felt good to use the face wash each night (which is the recommended time).

Here is a recap of my skInHarmony experience:

Day 1: The smell of the product was great! The cleanser seemed to make my face dry, but that diminished after I applied the toner. My face definitely felt refreshed.

Day 2: I could not wait to wash my face. I had the same feeling as day one.

Day 3: I wanted to try the peel; however, in reading the brochures, I was not sure if I should wash my face with the cleanser first. I ultimately decided to take it upon myself to do so. When I applied the peel, I felt as though I was at a retreat getting pampered. The smell of all the fruit was so fresh; I washed it off after 10 minutes, and I was feeling great. I don’t think my face has really ever felt as terrific as it did.

Later that day, my face did become a little dry, and it did peel for about a week. During that time I did not put anything on my face except lotion and was afraid doing this would make me break out, but luckily I didn’t. However, I was a little uncomfortable.

GOOD NEWS: After the dryness went away, I did notice my face was not as dull. I saw the difference in the condition of my skin, and despite the dryness, skInHarmony was great for my complexion. So, I guess as the saying goes…no pain, no gain!
