The Soap & Paper Factory seems like a strange name for a line of body care products. But, if you look more closely, it is more than just body care — it is an all-natural, beautifully scented, handmade product wrapped in exquisite, Earth-friendly packaging (soap& paper).

I just love how green all these companies are becoming. It really makes shopping for their products more fun! In fact, The Soap & Paper Factory is not only all-natural, they are also wrapped in recyclable and reusable packaging. I recently had the opportunity to try out some of these modern pleasures. I sampled the Verbena Body Cream and the Orange Blossom Body Scrub: More »

There are times when we go out with our special guy and notice several women taking a glance at him. But are they admiring your other half, or wondering what on earth you’re doing with him? It could go either way.
In today’s world, men are becoming more conscious of their appearance in all aspects. Not only are they worrying about what to wear, but now they’re taking longer looks in the mirror in order to pick apart every flaw. Perhaps we owe this to our endless fawning over actors like Ryan Reynolds or Matthew McConaughey (my personal favorite). This could be seen as something really great or really annoying.

My purse, as I have mentioned in previous posts, is my life. This may sound odd, but to a purse obsessed individual like myself, it makes perfect sense. Carrying my most treasured possessions, my bag is usually full of an array of items, ranging from video games to lint brushes, several pairs of sunglasses (I can be indecisive!), sunscreen, and even gloves. Because of this, I am always searching for larger sized bags to hold all of my “junk,” as my boyfriend refers to it.
So, for this month, I would like to introduce you to my latest purse purchase, The Marc by Marc Jacobs, “Dr. Q Fraser” pleated tote from the Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Purchased at Nordstrom for $558, this handbag is said to hold a magazine, water bottle, and wallet, but I must say I have found it to actually hold much more. More »

My new love — AG Hair Cosmetics! Their tag line is “style with substance.” Rightfully stated. Really, these products are amazing. I tried out, and am now an advocate of, their colour savour sulfate-free shampoo and colour savour color protection conditioner.
This two-step process leaves my hair silky smooth, and even gives it some body (hair and body are usually not included in the same sentence when my straight locks are being discussed). Also, it helps prevent my hair from knotting.
I have a horrible time trying to comb through my strands post-wash. Dread is an appropriate description of the state that most shampoos and conditioners leave my hair in. I was super-excited to try out AG’s conditioning mist detangling conditioner; however, since using the shampoo and conditioner, I haven’t had the need. I really only use this product for the wonderful smell that it has. More »

Ok, I know you have all seen the commercials, probably walked by it in the store, and I know you have asked yourself…does it really
work, it seems so gross? Well, I am here, as your resident foot snob, to say…YES!
The PedEgg ™ is FABULOUS! I tried it for the first time at my sister’s last month, and I have been hooked ever since. The PedEgg is super simple to use, and it really does make your heels soft and smooth.
With the rising cost of everything, I was in desperate need to find something to assist me in my at-home-pedis. Not being able to make it to my weekly pedicures, I had started to feel my feet get super yucky. They were getting dry and rough since I have been wearing my flip-flops all summer.
