My new love — AG Hair Cosmetics! Their tag line is “style with substance.” Rightfully stated. Really, these products are amazing. I tried out, and am now an advocate of, their colour savour sulfate-free shampoo and colour savour color protection conditioner.

This two-step process leaves my hair silky smooth, and even gives it some body (hair and body are usually not included in the same sentence when my straight locks are being discussed). Also, it helps prevent my hair from knotting.

I have a horrible time trying to comb through my strands post-wash. Dread is an appropriate description of the state that most shampoos and conditioners leave my hair in. I was super-excited to try out AG’s conditioning mist detangling conditioner; however, since using the shampoo and conditioner, I haven’t had the need. I really only use this product for the wonderful smell that it has.

 In addition to the fantastic products that this company produces, they also have a pretty cool Web site. One of the features that I was interested in was the results from their Eighth Annual Best Canadian Celebrity Hair Awards. Consisting of votes made by Canadian hair stylists, five of their countrymen,and women,were selected for hair-related awards. For example, Seth Rogan (of Knocked Up and Pineapple Express) was awarded most interesting and unique hair on a Canadian celebrity. Also honored, Sandra Oh with sexiest hair on a Canadian actress.

Obviously rooted in Canada, AG has also branched out into the U.S. And although the company’s products can only be purchased in salons, the one closest to you can easily be found on their site.

I highly suggest you try this line out for yourself. As AG says, “fashions come and go, but style is eternal.”
