Ladies, you do not have to tweeze those pesky chin hairs one by one with tweezers anymore. I have come across a great devise for facial hair removal, the Epicare So Easy. So petite, this devise will fit in your purse, makeup bag, or even your pocket if you really feel the need to keep it with you. This facial hair remover is a small-coiled spring with a handle on each end. To use it, you simply bend it in the shape of an upside down U and twist away. More »

I love fashion (you may be able to tell since I blog about it often), and I adore it even more when there’s a good cause attached to a label. For example, I am totally into Rebecca & Drew right now. Not only does this line make great clothing that is perfect for the workplace, but they also have been linked to Dress for Success, an organization that provides business attire to women searching for employment.

Interesting name, wouldn’t you say? Well, it is more than just a name; it is the philosophy behind Nude skin care. This company creates its products to be biocompatible by using high performance bioavailable ingredients. The focus is that it works with your body’s own biology, so it recognizes it and helps it deliver the intended results.
One question and answer I found particularly interesting on the Nude web site was:
Why do we feed our skin chemicals we would never consider eating?

To me, there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying a glass of wine after a long day. That one sip of good wine, tasting all the different flavors as they roll down your tongue, can make a bad day disappear within an instant. For a more invigorating experience, I like to enjoy a warm bubble bath along with my glass of wine; if I get some good music flowing in the background, like my favorite Frank Sinatra or Nat King Cole (only the classics pair up with wine and bathing), even better! I am infamous for soaking my long days of trial and trouble with a glass of wine and of course, a warm bubble bath.

Over the weekend, my boyfriend Sean, fellow Beauty Chatter Leeann, my brother Greg, and I joined the vast masses of people assembled at theaters across the country to get a chance to see the highly anticipated movie, “The Dark Knight.”
And, after a successful second try of waiting in line for two hours, we were finally fortunate enough to see the movie from the best seats in the house. Packed full of men, women, and children, the movie began with an applaud from theater goers like myself who had waited for what seemed like an eternity for the sequel to “Batman Begins.”

If you were to ask me what part of my body I take care of the most, I would have to say my hands and nails. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve admired my mom’s hands. They’ve always been super-soft, with beautiful, long, manicured nails. But I had one little problem: I couldn’t stop biting my nails! No matter what my mom did, I’d always have chewed up nails.
It wasn’t until I was about 12 years old that I started to take care of my nails and hands. I remember taking an “elective” class in sixth grade that involved manicures and anything to do with beauty (it was an end-of-the-year class). There I was, ready for my makeover, when I noticed that all of my friends had much nicer hands. Imagine my embarrassment when it was my turn to get my nails painted! I decided right there to stop biting my nails and work on having beautiful hands.

Are you looking for something to get rid of that nasty scar? Well, while at the recent ASAPS convention, I found this great product called Mederma ®.

Mederma introduced a new cream this year called Mederma Cream + SPF 30. According to the company, this is a 2-in-1 product that answers the need for scar therapy and sun protection, all at the same time. Mederma Cream + SPF 30 works to soften, smooth, and reduce the appearance of old and new scars. It also protects scars from the sun’s harmful UV rays, which can discolor and worsen the appearance of scars. It is safe for sensitive skin and the only scar-reducing product with SPF 30. More »

Pear-shaped, hourglass, triangular, and boyish. We’ve all heard these terms, either directed at us personally or at someone passing by. Well, now that we’ve figured out that sizes vary from brand to brand, we can work on dressing for our shape. Not every size 4 is the same shape and, we must therefore search for clothes that flatter our best features.
