A New Way to Catch Some Zzz’s-A Magical Sleeping Remedy

Posted by Sarah at 9:50 am

Being a copywriter, blogger, sister, daughter, friend, dog owner, and devoted girlfriend, I sometimes find myself exhausted at the day’s end.

A woman catching some needed rest.

But, instead of floating like a feather gently onto my pillow for a good night’s sleep, my mind runs wild with the day’s occurrences and the tasks I still need to accomplish. In turn, it usually takes me about two hours to completely fall asleep. And when I do doze off, I still toss and turn, only to awaken with dark circles and bags under my eyes.

Thus, in my search for a better night’s sleep, I recently stumbled across an alluring product at my local Bath and Body Works store called Aromatherapy Pillow Mist. Previously mentioned by my fellow Beauty Chatter, Denice, this sleep aid has a lavender vanilla scent that is sure to soothe any rough day.

An herb, lavender is said to help calm the nerves, while helping to diminish the strain felt on our bodies. As for the vanilla scent, it is also meant to soothe away the worries of the day. By spraying a light mist over your pillow and sheets before bed, and letting it completely dry, you will be pleasantly surprised with the refreshed feeling in the morning.

After using the mist for a little over two weeks now, I can happily say that my sleeping woes are over! Before bed, I now religiously spray the mist once (Don’t spray it more than once, or you will be overwhelmed!), and have since fallen asleep within 10 minutes, and awake as if I have been sleeping for days. By relaxing my nerves, I have been able to fall into a deep sleep that helps me feel ready to get out of bed in the morning.

So, if you are worn out, have trouble sleeping, and are looking to sleep more sound, I would highly recommended picking up Bath and Body Works’ Aromatherapy Pillow Mist today for only $10. And, if you have time, feel free to check out their other Aromatherapy Sleep essentials. I know I won’t go to sleep without them again!

Hi Sarah, Great article. Lavender is such a cure all for many things. Sleep remedy of course is the best. I am sure mixed with Vanilla adds to the gentleness of a good nights sleep. God’s beautiful earth sure is plentiful!

Sleeping has never been a problem for me, it is getting sleep I have a hard time with. I have a hard time getting to bed early, so every morning I always feel tired, hence, the Monsters and coffees always in my hand when I walk into work. I will definitely try this, maybe it will help! Thanks Sarah!

I love the pillow mist and I’ve been using it for years. There is nothing like getting into a bed with fresh sheets that have been misted with Lavender Vanilla!

Lavender is something I have used before for sleep but never with vanilla. I do have vanilla scented candles which I found helped (they are so strong it can be quite sickly).

I’ll definitely have to check out the lavender/vanilla spray. That sounds like it could be ideal.

    Thanks for the heads up.
