My hair is quite important to me, so when I heard Kate Hudson was teaming up with a well-known hair stylist to create an eco-friendly hair care line, I just had to put it on my list of must haves! David Babaii for WildAid consists of hair care products and styling tools that are innovative and eco-friendly. Great, huh? Not only is the packaging made of recyclable materials, but these products are free of sulfates, parabens, and petrochemicals — all damaging to hair.

Additionally, what makes the line so special is that they don’t use animal products or test on animals. I find it admirable that Kate Hudson used her own hair for testing, rather than animals!
When I started using the line’s Mineral Amplifying Shampoo and Conditioner, I wasn’t too sure; but after a few washes it became one of the best things I have used on my hair in a long time. Most amplifying products leave my roots feeling like they have a lot of build up; however, this shampoo and conditioner combo don’t do that. I get great body and my hair feels healthy.
I handed off the Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner to one of my fellow Beauty Chat contributors, Denice, and this is what she had to say:
“I love the Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner! It has really helped my dry hair feel much better. It smells wonderful, both in the bottle and my hair. I had just had my hair bleached and this duo helped my hair regain its luster. I also tried the hair polish and it added that little zing my hair needed! This is a fabulous product line with a fabulous cause!”
Here is a rundown of some other David Babaii for WildAid products that I was fortunate to try:
Bohemian Beach Spray –Helps add texture, volume, and moisture. I apply a few squirts before I turn on the hair dryer and my locks feels full of life.
Fibers Molding Paste- This great product helps finish and add texture to your style without producing a sticky or stiff feeling. So after blow-drying my hair, I dab a little on the palm of my hand, clap my hands together, and let the fibers do their work.
Volcanic Ash Sculpting Clay- This all-natural sculpting clay will help you define or add texture to your locks. After I finish blow-drying and I am done styling, I smooth a little sculpting clay to my hair and it provides that extra finishing touch.

An added bonus: each product is formulated for all hair types. If you would like to learn more about David Babaii for WildAid, or order products, check out their Web site.

I use the volcanic ash both before styling and little after styling because I have really frizzy hair. It’s the only product *ever* to help my normally sad state of hairs. It’s not billed as an anti-frizz solution but it really works and I am totally in love with it!!

Thanks for the post Stephine, those before and after pics are really nice. I resorted to using honey as a treatment on my hair as so many salon products dry out my hair.
