As I brush my hair after I shower, I notice that a lot of it ends up on my brush. This has been happening for quite some time but I’ve never really thought too much of it. I come from a family with full heads of hair so going bald isn’t something I fear. However, I do fear the day that I see a gray hair. My mom has been dying her hair since she was very young, and while her brothers and sisters have lush mounds of hair, they’re all salt and peppered!

The rising gas prices have really started to cut into my beauty budget. In order to find hair care products that don’t cost me an arm and a leg I have enlisted the help of my fellow Beauty Chatter, Leeann. To be honest, we have tried our fair share of shampoo and conditioners, and there are some pretty good ones out there, but they are pricey.

When it comes to my fashion sense, I like to think of myself as a person who stands outside of the box. Let me clarify, I would define my style as comfortable and chic — yet, in a way, sloppy?

I guess I can say I have a style all my own. Outside of work, I can be regularly seen wearing layers of necklaces, bracelets, scarves, darker makeup, darker clothes, and slip on tennis shoes (my shoes always come untied). I look a bit gothic, punk, grunge, yet girly.

While relaxing poolside, I like to catch up on my Hollywood gossip by reading People magazine. On one particular day, as I was reading the “Style Watch” section, I came across this super cute makeup. As I read a little more, I saw the segment is on celebrity makeup artist Mezhgan (make up artist on American Idol) and her makeup line Me by {Me}zhgan.
