Living and working in Southern California during the summer months means lots of sun, lots of heat, and lots of sweating. None of which I’m fond of in the least bit, yet having been here my entire life I’ve learned to cope. However, there’s one thing that I can’t seem to get over, the sweating.

Every year, I run to my local drug store in search of a new deodorant to help combat any smelliness. Luckily, I don’t have much to combat, but I do want to make sure I’m dry and fresh at all times.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to test out a new deodorant by Dove: Ultimate Clear in Smooth Cashmere. I’ve used other Dove deodorants and usually have to switch after a couple of weeks to a new one; however, I’ve been using this product for almost month and am happy to report that I’ve been able to stay dry and fresh for most of the day. While there is probably no deodorant out there that actually lasts all day long, this one did a pretty good job.

The scent is a very light floral, not as strong as others I’ve used. It goes on smooth, just as the name promises, but I was disappointed to see that it came off on my clothes. It was less than other deodorants, but it still left its evidence.

I’m sure that Smooth Cashmere will be a great addition to anyone’s beauty regimen as the winter months get closer. If it got me through the heat in So Cal, it can get you through the cooler months!
