New Year, New Makeup!

As the New Year approaches at lightning speed, I’ve recently found myself rummaging through the mess I call my makeup bag and tossing out old items.

As you all know, I love makeup…buying it, applying it, and learning new techniques. So now that 2009 is only a couple of days away, it seems like a great time to say “out with the old, in with the new!”

What about everyone else? Have you noticed some not-so-hot items in your makeup arsenal?

    I am soo guilty of not keeping my make-up bag clean and organized! If it weren’t for the fact that I lost ALL of my make-up in my last move (It had literally about 10 years worth of make-up in it) I don’t think I would own anything that was less than 2 years old. I’d love to see more on this and maybe see some suggestions about proper time frames to keep and throw out older make-up :D

    You should see my make-up counter! I don’t carry a bag anymore because my collection just wouldn’t fit in one nicely! But I have certainly mastered taking up 2/3 of the counter space and 3 full drawers!
    I’ll take this quiz just to see if it gives me the motive to clean out the make up I don’t use anymore but just can’t seem to throw out!

    I had too many mineral makeup containers. I had to decide which product I wanted to keep….really which product was better for my skin. I decided on one and I couldn’t be happier. I love mixing the shades to truly match my skin tone. I don’t have to be just another shade of tan.
