Good morning everyone! Thank you for being such patient, avid readers. Due to our busy schedule here at Beauty Chat, we have not been able to pump out as many articles as we’d like. But that’s all going to change shortly, as we have some great ideas up our sleeves.
In addition to providing Beauty Chat for y’all, our company is also home to several other websites, including iEnhance.com, PlasticSurgery.com, and CosmeticSurgery.com. So the writers of Beauty Chat also spend their time contributing to these online properties. More »

I am not a fan of Valentine’s Day, not at all. February 14th is one of my least favorite days of the year. I even broke up with my very first boyfriend the day before, because I found out he got me a gift when I told him not to. Although, there was so much more to this infamous break-up than the purchasing of hearts and flowers, I just have never agreed with Valentine’s Day. Well, at least how most people celebrate it.
I don’t like the clichéd candy hearts, teddy bears that say “I love you,” cards with over-used poems, and anything else that is just plain corny and associated with V Day. There is one thing I do agree with, spending time with someone special on this day – minus the Hallmark cards. Because, despite being single and bitter about Valentine’s, I still find it sweet to do something slightly romantic on this day. More »

She birthed you, raised you, and dealt with you all these years, now it’s time to tell her, “I love you!” If you have a Mom like mine, the woman who has it all, then it’s time to use that noggin and get creative!
Flowers and balloons are always a nice gesture, but your Mother deserves so much more (at least mine does!), so make her feel special with some of these unique gift ideas.
• Pamper, Pamper, Pamper! You could buy your Mom passes to the spa, or bring the spa to her; it will show you actually want to spend time with her. Set a day aside and have an at-home pamper day with your mom.
Some products I recommend trying out with your Mom: More »

Makeup is an obsession of mine, as I’ve mentioned in previous posts, and whenever I get the chance to try something new, I jump at it! Especially when it comes to liquid foundation since I can never seem to find the right shade to match my skin tone. I’ve gone through countless bottles – from drug store brands to department store limited supply makeup brands.
Thanks to FACE Atelier and their Ultra Foundation, I can get the perfect match. They offer a basic array of tones and two adjusters. Zero Plus makes the base darker, while Zero Minus lightens it up. No more waste!
My fellow Beauty Chatter, Audrey, tried out their Pout lip enhancer. Here’s what she had to say:
“The FACE Atelier Pout product worked fairly well. Although I did not see dramatic results, I could definitely tell that it had made a difference in the overall shape and color of my lips. The tingling sensation you get when you first apply it is light, but enough to convince you that the product must be working. You won’t look like Angelina Jolie with this stuff, but it will certainly make you feel a bit more sultry.”
FACE Atelier is cruelty free, doesn’t add scents or flavors to their products, and takes everyone’s unique skin type into consideration. Check out their website to see all the great products they offer.

By the time 3:00 p.m. hits, I feel brutally exhausted, which is when I opt for a caffeinated beverage, such as a Monster, coffee, or a Coke. Even then, caffeine is only a temporary fix to the lack of energy – I get a quick boost and an immediate crash. Plus, the downside of carbonated beverages is that they always make me bloat and my stomach gets all “poochy.” It is as if I can’t win in this world of energy!
That is until I found out about the latest in energy technology, Enlyten ™ - electrolyte strips that dissolve in your mouth. Enlyten offers four quick dissolving strips – Electrolytes Plus (achieve peak performance), Energy (recharge), Antioxidants (boosts your immune system), and Melatonin (relax and reduce stress). When we got a delivery from Kiss Down Under, I was pretty excited about it because I have wanted to try this stuff since I first read about it originally sometime last year.
I started out with the Unisex Cleansing Wash, which is meant to be a personal grooming wash for the pubic area (or as I like to call them “Top Secret Lady Parts.”) Kiss Down Under advertises this product as being guaranteed to give you a “wow” sensation, all while providing you with a stern warning as to how much of the product to use. Being that I am a fairly paranoid person when it comes to the care and maintenance of my nether regions, I took this warning seriously and only used a very small amount of the cleansing wash, which I lathered up with water prior to applying it to my body.
